Dear Church Family

Dear Church Family,

First, thank you so much for the kindness that you have once again extended to my wife and I on our anniversary. This 25 year milestone was made even more special because of all the work that was done by so many to make us feel appreciated. Our theme this year has been “Let us love one another” and you have carried this out toward us.

Secondly, I encourage each of you to continue to express love for the Lord by extending love toward one another. We will soon, Lord willing, be bringing this year to a close. We are heading into Fall and then Winter. These seasons bring great Holidays. I encourage you to make the effort to let your family know you love them. I also hope that we will be mindful of those who will be grieving through the Holidays. Consider reaching out to those you know who have lost a loved one this year. I exhort you to reach out to those who have needs. All around us and all around the world people are in need. Some are in need of physical help, but so many more are in need of SALVATION.

This brings me to my last thought. I implore you to be faithful to church. In the weeks to come we will be challenged to open our eyes to the world’s need for SALVATION. October is “Missions Month.” In November, we will have our “Thankful Hearts Revival” and our Sunday feast, and as always, December is filled with Christmas activities. Please get involved in all of these efforts. I love each of you and I look forward to GHBC finishing the year strong.

Sincerely Yours, Securely Christ’s,
Pastor
