Lord willing, we will be headed home tomorrow. I must confess that I am ready to be home. The trip has been very profitable, but there is no place like home.
I do not know exactly how many professions of faith were made due to the fact that a couple of times we had altar calls where individual altar workers were not utilized. We did get a count of all those who dealt personally with someone about receiving Jesus Christ. That number was 55 professions of faith. WOW!
One of the more popular songs this week went like this: “Be bold! Be strong! For the Lord your God is with you…” I must say the people of GHBC were bold and strong witnesses here in Jamaica. I trust that this same boldness will follow us home.
This trip has been good for me personally in that it has allowed me to regroup and refocus. I ask that we be faithful to pray for each other. I also ask that we would strive for unity in our church. I believe God desires to do great things in and through us.
