I want to call your attention to Philippians 3:13:

“Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”   

How do you view your life?

Is your life about PAST PERFORMANCE or PRESENT POTENTIAL? It is incorrect and unwise to think that our past does not influence our present, and it does us no good to live in the past, even if our past was good. You cannot run from today’s challenges, but can face them with this blessed assurance that Jesus has gone before you. Let’s catch up to Jesus and walk with him. He stayed up all night watching over you and has gotten an early start today. It is going to be a great day because, “This is the day the LORD has made…”
